OECTA’s Office Hours are an opportunity for all teachers, particularly Occasional and Beginning Teachers, to connect online, ask questions and get advice about topics that matter most to them. Each live online session will be hosted by an experienced teacher leader and will be supplemented with a pre-recorded audio presentation. Participants are encouraged to view the pre-recorded audio presentation in advance of the live session. Live sessions will be scheduled for a maximum of 1.5 hours and will provide participants with the opportunity to ask questions about practice and pedagogy, get advice, share teaching tips and network with other teachers. Participants are welcome to connect for a short time or stay for the entire conversation.
Visit the provincial website for a complete list of offerings. New offerings will be added throughout the school year. In order to secure a spot, registration is required.
